2nd Edition of “Beyond Business” brings together SEAL Group and Católica Porto Business School in another lunch debate
This month marks the return of Beyond Business – Lunch Series, a joint initiative of SEAL Group and Católica Porto Business School that aims to create a privileged space for dialogue between business leaders, academics and professionals from different sectors. This is an exclusive initiative for the community of SEAL clients and partners and of the CPBS Corporate Club.
The theme of this edition will focus on “Artificial Intelligence and Organizations”, an unavoidable subject in the current business and social context, which raises strategic, ethical and human challenges.
The guest speaker is Raul Villamarin Rodriguez, Vice-President of Woxsen University (India), specialist in Cognitive Technologies and adjunct professor. With a career marked by the convergence between Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence, Raul holds a PhD in Human-Centered AI (Cognitive Psychology and Technology) and is a board member of the Globally Responsible Leadership Initiative (GRLI).
For Sérgio Almeida, Founder of SEAL Group, “in this session, it is expected that the speaker will share his vision on how AI can transform organizations, increase productivity, support decision-making and, at the same time, reinforce the human dimension at work.” The debate will also address the risks, ethical dilemmas and the need to prepare leaders and teams for a future in which collaboration between humans and technology will be decisive.
