SEAL Group Becomes an Official Partner of the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate ICAN

SEAL Group is now an official partner of ICAN – the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, the global coalition awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017, which brings together more than 700 organizations across over 100 countries, with the goal of promoting the total elimination of nuclear weapons and strengthening the United Nations Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW).

By signing the ICAN Partner Agreement, SEAL Group publicly commits to contributing to a safer and more peaceful world, guided by the values of human dignity, diplomacy, cooperation, and global responsibility — values that already shape our work in leadership, talent development, organizational culture, and social impact. This commitment reinforces our involvement in initiatives that promote ethical and human-centered leadership, international collaboration to address global challenges, and the defense of peace, inclusion, and human rights.

“We believe that peace is not merely the absence of conflict. It is an active construction that depends on education, dialogue, and collective responsibility.
Becoming an ICAN partner means lending our voice and our action to a global cause that concerns all humanity, contributing to civic and institutional mobilization for peace education.”
Sérgio Almeida, CEO, SEAL Group

Today, there are more than
12,000 nuclear weapons in the world. Their existence continues to pose a real threat to global security, the environment, and the future of coming generations. Taking this step means recognizing that every organization, every leader, and every citizen has a role in building a world where peace is lived daily — and not merely intended.
